Shmuel Greenberg Explains the Beit Shemesh Transportation Auction on Radio Kol Baramah
Here are the highlights:
The interviewer, Ronen Katz: What is the auction all about?
Greenberg: The suffering has been immense. Now, instead of 160 buses, we will have over 400.
But who is regulating? Who will ensure the problems don't continue?
Greenberg: The regulating authority, as always, is the transportation ministry. The difference is, the company couldn't handle the problems, because they simply weren't authorized to use so many buses
When will we see the actual results?
Greenberg: The auction was opened a week ago, and will end in February.
Sounds good. If only other Charedi cities had the same auction!
Greenberg: Amen. The auction is so big, it was divided into two. Instead of one company handling Beit Shemesh, we will now get two.
I must thank all those involved in bringing this about, especially Yisrael Katz of the transportation ministry…
